Frankston City Council will launch its City Safe Officer Program next Wednesday, Sept 1 at 2pm. Please refer to the invitation to attend this launch. Council will be distributing an information pack within the next week to all CAD businesses further outlining the programme and providing contact information for businesses needing to reach City Safety Officer Patrols. At the Chamber’s request, this info pack will also include a simple card with the relevant phone number into Council’s Safe City Centre which can be pinned up near your phone for emergency use.

Frankston Business Chamber members recently voted to change the name of the Chamber. to Greater Frankston Business Chamber.

It was considered that our former name “Frankston Business Chamber” appeared to relate only to the Frankston CAD or Frankston titled suburbs rather than the Greater Frankston region incorporating Seaford, Carrum Downs, Langwarrin, Baxter, Karingal, Skye & Sandhurst areas.

By becoming the Greater Frankston Business Chamber our name reflects that we represent the entire Region. This also better reflects the current membership of the Chamber and is also seen as helpful in our push to attract an increased membership from across the Greater Frankston Area.

The Heart of Frankston campaign will change our city centre and train and bus interchange into a bustling, lively social hub with the right mix of apartments, offices, facilities, shops and cafes.
